"The main challenge that we currently face is food insecurity in my household. This is because I earn as little as KES.1500 in a week. The amount is not enough to provide for my family of four. I have 3 siblings whom I support in paying for their school fees and it has been a challenge to me. The businesses of opening a hardware will bring a great impact in the family."

"Receiving this money will help me to complete building my new home. Two months ago, I demolished the one I lived in and relocated to my new farm. I will spend about KES 60,000 to establish my houses here. I will then spend the rest of the money on starting a small shop by the roadside since this new farm has access to a busy road where business can flourish."

"My priority is to build a house for myself, I have been away from home, and since I came back( eight months now) I have been living in my son's house. My house fell and I was not able to repair it. I went away to work after my wife left me and I would visit from time to time but this made it impossible to build my own house. I was a palm wine tapper but had an accident that rendered me unable to work. The income was not enough to enable me to cater to my need of rebuilding my house.
When I receive this transfer my interest will be in building a house for myself where I can live and be relaxed."

"I have desired to invest in livestock because this is the only way I can save my money to earn me profit when I sell them after they multiply. I therefore, plan to start with 5 goats that will cost me 15000 KES. I also plan to extend my house with one room the one I have is not spacious enough to accommodate my grandchildren with whom I share a room. The remaining amount will be invested in my grandchildren's educational needs."

"Financial struggles have weighed me down. This has been made worse by the kind of livelihood that I depend on. The little amount I get from my casual job is not enough to cater to all my needs. I have four children to feed, clothe, and educate."

"Water is a necessity in our lives. I have a tap at home but it is not reliable, it can go dry for almost a week. As a man, It has been hard finding water in such times. I live with my three children and it has been very difficult since their mother is away for work purposes. Harvesting and storing water was the only solution at hand. My plan, therefore, is to buy a 10,000-litre storage tank, which can harvest and store water during the rainy season and when there is consistent running water. This can cost 50,000 KES including purchase, transport and mounting."

"I did receive an SMS that my transfer is in. I just heard from people that the transfer is in and I thought that I have been missed. I called my helper to assist me in checking my Airtel money balance and the money was in. I felt relieved and I was very happy."
