What did you spend your second transfer on?
We spent 20,000 KES to buy a cow, seats at 8,500 KES, bought a bed at 5,000 KES and added business stock at 3,000 KES. The rest of the money was used to buy daily food items in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
We have been able to start a business and therefore managed to have a steady income that allows us to meet our daily expenses. We would otherwise be forced to live from hand to mouth if we had not received these transfers from GD.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to cement my house so as to avoid smearing it frequently. I also want to buy chairs that my visitors can use when they visit.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that my children have been able to eat without having to beg from neighbours. We have achieved this through farming.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is poor health. I am asthmatic and my condition does not allow me to be as productive as I want especially during rainy seasons.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at midday when I have people around me that I can talk to. This makes me forget my problems.
