What did you spend your first transfer on?
I invested my first transfer in a fishing net and lines. I had been running a fishing business, fishing and selling fish to customers at a retail price, however it plummeted due to high cost of living that bared me from reinvesting more into the business. So I am very proud of Give Directly, it has reshaped my business again and I can now realize more profit and meet my household needs.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly, I felt very delighted. I would revamp the health of my fishing business that had been performing dismally following high cost of living.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is the task of fending/providing for all of my children on my own. This is because as a single parent,my income is hardly enough to cater for all their needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon because that is the time when I have been able to sell my fish and I have some money to cater for my needs.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means my liberation from poverty.I plan to repair my broken boat and engage in fishing in large scale since currently I am sourcing from suppliers in order to sell and this is very costly.
