Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy a cow as an investment. I would always want to have something which I can run to when I have a financial crisis. I would not want to beg as I have been doing in the past.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have a grandchild whom I have been taking care of since his parents died two years ago. I have always taken care of him in all his needs as his own parents. Since I only rely on income from casual work which could not meet all our needs in the house. I really needed help in meeting his educational demands and I thank God Gd came at the right time. Ever since I started receiving these transfers, he has never been sent home for fees arrears again because I always ensure I pay on a monthly basis. In as much as I have not clear the whole arrears, the teachers have recognised the effort and have never sent him home for arrears.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I know I will have bought the cow and I will never be as poor as I have been before the transfers. The cow will reproduce and I will have a number which I can sell when I have financial difficulty. I know my life will never be the same again because of the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my family has a financial breakthrough and stress-free. I have been able to settle my debts which have helped reduce the stress levels. I was able to expand my farming by buying the hybrid maize seeds and fertilizer to help boost my income levels. I cannot thank GD enough for their support that has helped me be a full-blown farmer and be able to put food on the table for my family on a daily basis.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of buying more livestock to help the family financially secure.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily is the fact that I was able to invest in livestock rearing to help in securing my family financially. I ventured into livestock rearing but I could not as I earned so much little income that could hardly cover our food needs. Now, we have a fall back plan whenever we have financial constraints.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to save and venture into livestock rearing to help in raising income for my family. I wish to be a full-blown farmer to help in the generation of income for our day-to-day provisions.

Currently, my life is a difference in that I now own a kitchen. My children are also attemding school with minimal destruction caused by fee breaks.

Previously, my children used to be sent home for school fees frequently. This really affected their performances but I had no option because my casual job was not generating adequate income. Upon receiving this transfer the biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to settle the school fees arrears and now my children are confidently going to school with no worries of being sent home for school fees and their performance has improved so well.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have fixed an iron sheet roof and replace the grassed that one by buying building materials every month with the sent transfer. This is because at the moment the leaky grass thatched roof of my house is in a deplorable condition which has made it risky for our habitation.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I was able to clear outstanding fee arrears for my grandchild. His parents are not formally employed. They depend on odd jobs getting meagre pay and being that he is a bright boy, I did not want him to miss the chance of getting an education. Previously, I could struggle to pay school fees for him because I used to sell charcoal or my farm produce to take care of his fees. I feel relieved because I managed to clear it and he has settle well in school.
