What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 28000 KES of my first lumpsum transfer on 2 cows then I paid 14000 KES secondary school fees for my son and I invested 8000 KES in tomatoes and onions farming.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
GD has enabled me invest more in commercial farming, which has improved my yield/ out put which has subsequently improved my income, the biggest difference in my daily life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying seeds for maize,onion,tomatoes and kales so that I can plant on my farm,I will spend part of the transfer on buying two bulls that I will use in ploughing my farm,I will also buy agricultural inputs like manure,fertilizer and pesticides so that I can apply on my farm,part of the cash I will use in paying school fees for my child who is in Voi University,part of it also I will spend on paying tuition fees for my four kids who are in primary school and the remaining amount I will spend in repairing my house by buying cement and sand as it is in bad condition due cracks on the wall.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that my farm has been my main source of income and it has enabled me to take my kids to school up to college level.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that I plough my farm and prepare it for farming but rainfall in our area is unreliable and getting water is not easy so that I can support my farming activity.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go to my farm in the morning to do some ploughing,then I am happy as it is my source of income.
