What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I cleared secondary school fees arrears for my 2 children with 20000 KES, I spent 12000 KES on 4 sheep, I took my mother to Kenya National Hospital using 10000 KES and we spent the remaining 8000 KES on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
GD has increased my safety net interns of wealth I own; I have increased the number of livestock in my farm and I don't need to struggle a lot when succumb in a problem anymore and this is the biggest difference in my daily life.

We paid school fees 5000 KES, bought a sack of maize 3400 KES, utensils for 1000 KES and the rest we spent on food.

We planning to extend our house, and buy cattle with the upcoming lumpsum transfer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for my daughter who is in form two. Secondly l would wish to expand my house because according to the size of my family we are not comfortable in this small house. I would also like to build a kitchen outside to act as sleeping room for my children and for preparing meals. Finally l would like to buy sheep and goats because of the climatic condition of my area.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have struggled to take my daughter to high school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I have got some casual work knowing that at the end of the day l will have something to take home for my family.
