How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
We are able to eat healthily as we get milk from the cow daily. We can sell the surplus to buy food and even consume some to nourish our health. With the transfers, I have managed to have a prestigious life because I now have livestock that I am rearing which are a source of financial security. We can always fall back on the livestock whenever we are faced with financial constraints. That is how different my life is currently compared to the past four months.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving and buying more livestock to help in ploughing farms to earn us income. I also wish to save the transfers and buy building materials that I can build a new house as my recent one is so old and on the verge of falling down.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the past four months is that I was able to save and buy livestock for rearing as the financial security of the family. I have always wanted to venture into livestock rearing to help my family with their daily provisions like food. I mainly bought one cow to help in the production of milk and sire children for rearing. With this, we can never go hungry even if I am unable to raise income for the day.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I look forward to buying that cow for ploughing in order to be able to generate income for the family. I shall have saved and bought the building materials and built a new house that will be the envy of the entire village.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I now look healthy and happy. I now have a reliable source of income through the sales of milk from the dairy cow I bought recently. This completely changed my life because I can now make plans and achieve most of my goals. Initially, I would only make daily plans because of the nature of my Job. I never made any big progress because I didn't have hope in life. I thank God for bringing this organization to our village because I now live with a purpose.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal that I would wish to achieve in the next four months is to boost by farming. I have a tomato farm that has been doing well until recently when I over harvested them because of an emergency that arose. I plan to expand my farm by hiring a piece of land and buy more seeds and other necessary inputs before the planting season elapses. I am also planning to plaster the floor of my house. I feel I need to make it look more decent and appealing. It will also give me an easy time when cleaning since plastered floors are easy to clean and maintain. I am planning to do all these by saving the monthly income I receive from Give Directly. I will also save some money that I will get from the casual jobs that I normally do.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfers is that I am happier and less worried in life. I managed to buy a cow that recently gave birth. I now get enough milk which I normally sell. This has been a reliable source of income since I am the only one selling milk in my neighborhood. Nowadays I don't get stressed about how I would get money to meet my family's daily needs because I no longer depend on casual jobs which are normally unreliable. We also look healthier because we supplement all our meals with milk. I really thank Give Directly for enabling me to buy this cow.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have plastered my house in the next six months. I have already started saving money towards this project and I believe I will have accumulated enough money to buy the necessary materials. I always feel embarrassed because I am the only one with a mud floor. Most of my friends have plastered floors and I always feel the odd one out. The joy of every woman is to have a house they can mop every morning. I can't wait to have mine plastered and mop-like my fellow women.
