What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my transfer to buy sand, cement which I have used to renovate my house from mud to plaster. I paid school fees for my child and also gave my husband some money for his upkeep.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a bigger house which is plastered and has steel windows. I also for the first time paid school fees for my child without too much stress. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending recipients cash transfers which have changed their lives and improved self dependency. I have not seen anything they did not do well.

I spent my first transfer on purchasing an ox for ploughing and cow for milk purposes. At least I am relieved from the burden of purchasing milk every morning.

The greatest difference I have seen in my daily life is that today I can prepare milked tea every morning.
