What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I invested it in livestock and crop farming-I bought a cow and 4 sheep and grew Kales. I love farming and therefore receiving this money was a great impetus to my growth.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because, currently, I have a source of income-I practice livestock and crop farming in a better scale and and therefore, I am now able to fend for my household members more easily. Before then, life was more difficult for me since my income was very predictable-I would get money today but not tomorrow.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I love how the staff at Give Directly approach and talk to the recipients however, I would urge Give Directly to expand its geographical coverage of help since majority are still languishing in poverty-you can't know this till you visit them.
