In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well in sending transfers because the transfers directly go to the recipients; thus no corruption is witnessed.
What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used part of my third transfer on buying a sofa set & table at a total cost of 13500 KES. I then used the balance to buy bedding, clothing and foodstuffs for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different from how it would have been without transfers because I have been able to I construct a new spacious house in which I currently live with my family; which I would not have afforded on my own.

I spend my second transfer on buying 30 Pieces of iron sheets and leased a rice farm for plantation for next season. I also bought food and cloths for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now I' am going to build my own house having bought building materials and plant rice as my investment when planting season starts.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to build a new house because my house is leaking. Secondly l would wish to use some money in farming to increase productivity. Finally l would like to use the rest of the money to buy household items.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is we used to stay in rental house but now we have struggled to build our own house.

My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to sustain my family.
