How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has taken a big stepping stone through the transfers I had received from GiveDirectly . Today , My family and I enjoy the luxury of staying in a spacious house because my children are able to play and run around the house. At the same time, we do have family dinners together which I feel has bonded us more compared to before where the house we used to stay in was small and squeezed. What pleases me more is that my living standard has improved more than my neighbors who are youths like me who refused to participate in the project
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion , I love the fact that GiveDirectly gave money in lump sum through personal phones which enabled the beneficiaries to engage in bigger projects which I could not afford to initiate earlier because of inadequacy in finances . I do not see what GiveDirectly did wrong at its work .
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger portion of my second transfer to build a decent spacious , therefore , I no longer worried of hosting visitors or increasing my family size because their I have a comfortable shelter . I also bought a cow to start a livestock rearing project with the remaining amount .

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes me so happy. I will use it to build a bigger semi permanent house for my family. Currently I stay in a very small house that can not accommodate me with my family comfortably.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am resting in my bed .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of employment. I did not get a chance to complete my education hence I cannot get a proper job to pay me well. I depend on casual jobs and the income is not enough to feed my family and do other things.
