How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed indeed. I now have food as I had enough fertilizer for my fields. I will not worry about food anymore

Everyday I am thankful that GiveDirectly is an organisation that does not show favouritism in its processes. In my opinion everything should remain the same

I used the money to buy 30 iron sheets for the roof of the new house that I plan on building. I also bought door frames as well as window frames. I also bought nails and wires for the roof construction. I spend the remaing money on clothes as well as my daily upkeep.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money really means alot,I really appreciate to be enrolled in the programme because I'm really one of the poorest person in this village, I'm happy and excited about Givedirectly because I know for sure half of my problems will be solved with the transfer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm the happiest person in the afternoon because thats when i always come home after my bicycle tax business,so that's when I spent time with my family in general and that makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is having to relay on casual labour as a source of income,growing up I have been in a bicycle tax business and sadly I have never owned one, apparently I have a borrowed bicycle that i use as a bicycle tax,and it has really been hard because it is a borrowed one,I would love to buy my own bysicle for this kind of business and I'm looking forward to the transfer for this reason in particular.
