How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a great change in my life in that I bought house hold items such as a mattress, clothes. I am very smart. The cash transfer also enabled my spouse to be released from jail where he had been held custody for unknown reasons.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send the people money that helped us alot. I can not point out any wrong things that GiveDirectly has done wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second cash transfer was spent on paying a police fine for my spouse who had been arrested.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been in position to own a lager mattress and the solar system that I bought has enabled me cut costs of buying cells daily. Am also hoping to make profit from the produce(beans and millet) that I have stocked, once I sell them.

The moment I received my money, I became very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for stocking 2 bags of beans at 605,000 UGX, 2 bags of millet at 330,000 UGX, mattress at 150,000 UGX, Solar system at 90,000 UGX, paid pride price at 300,000 UGX to my parents, food 255,000 UGX, bought clothes at 130,000 UGX and cleared a debt of 20,000 UGX that I had.
