Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I acquired farm land which I'm planning to cultivate in the next season. There will be food security in my home. Secondly, I bought a bed and a mattress. I can now sleep well since I acquired a bed and a mattress. Prior to this cash transfer, I faced challenge of food insecurity since I farmed on small scale and I slept on hard mat.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt very excited because I was sure of acquiring farm land and household goods which I was lacking like mattress.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought building materials( 2 trips bricks) worth UGX 300,000, household goods ( a bed, bed sheets, curtains, utensils and a mattress) worth UGX 300,000, paid medical bills worth UGX 90,000, bought food worth UGX 10,000 and an acre of land.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be in position to build iron-roofed house for better acommdation. Iam currently staying in a grass roofed house which leaks too much whenever it rains. My sleep is so much inconvenienced when it rains since I have to stand on only some spots in the room. This house will provide comfort ,enough space for sleeping and storage of my property.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam so much engaged looking for what my children can survive with, so my favourite part of the day is afternoon. My children chatt and console me and this has acted as relieving factor.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge Iam facing is unbearable poverty in the family. My spouse was jailed and as such no one helps me in managing the family affairs. I try cultivation but all in all , I normally realise very liittle out- put to sustain my family needs. The family members are getting malnutritious since we eat mostly a single poor meal a day .
