How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been staying with my parents in law but now I have constructed my own house in our own land making us independent.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
It has helped us to get money to solve our problems like land, feeding etc
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on hiring land for cultivation at 100000 an care for one season, bought bricks at 580000, hoop iron at 15000, timber at 50000,iron sheets at 250000. We also paid labourers 300000.

I now own a piece of land and bought a goat things i never expected to ever have.

I felt very happy because was depressed and the child had been sent home from school
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a plot of land and sent some of the money to child at school and a bought goat

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me means being independent. My husband and I will be able to buy land and construct our own family house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when my husband returns home for lunch and actually finds it readily served on the table.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is the frequent sickness of my household members. My son was diagonised with both malaria and measles three times. My husband is suffering from malaria.
