How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have my commercial house that will generate money in form of renting it off. This investment will relieve me from the suffering I have been going through of lacking money to use when its needed. Before getting this transfer, my life was miserable as I could not figure out a proper investment plan. I used to depend on farming where at times it was not reliable. This is so as the quality and prices could drop at any given time. Most of my financial issues were always left unattended.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has enabled me to build a latrine and my commercial house that will help in the long run. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has done nothing wrong. It has provided me with a phone that is helping me to communicate with my relations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer Ugx 1632000 on building a commercial house. This will be my investment as I will rent it off to generate me money to sustain myself in the old age.
