What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on enlarging my tomatoes farming project on a one acre farm into a large scale 27,000 KES . I am now assured on double output from this project . I also bought a bag of maize for consumption purposes and a calf too.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I am practicing tomatoes farming project on a large scale hence I am assured of lump sum yields at the end of this planting season hence good profits from their sales.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly did a good work of giving the poorest households in my community money with no strings attached since the recipients have used the money on what they lacked the most such as starting businesses and paying school fees for their children.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent on purchasing a water pump and pipe for irrigating my horticulture farm, leased a piece of land for farming and spent the rest on buying blanket ,two sacks of maize and other foods to take care of my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
There is a big difference in my life since I received transfers from GD. I do not rely on other farmers water pump for irrigating my farm since I bought mine.Besides I am a very peaceful and happy person than I was before.Thanks to GD.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on a bag of corn 3200 KES, hybrid tomato seeds 2700 KES, fuel for a generator i hired 700 KES and food 700 KES.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend my upcoming transfer on a water pump to assist in watering my farm and sugarcane seedlings.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My plan is to invest my transfer on vegetables farming in which I will buy water pump and pipes to help in irrigating my farm and lastly use the remaining amount to build another house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having built my current house after saving money from vegetables farming.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on paying school fees and making ends meet. I have no other sources of income other than farming which lately is not giving good yields since drought has become a common phenomenon here.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm attending to my vegetables farm.I grow vegetables like kales, tomatoes and onions.
