How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now very bright because I dress decently and I feed well. I am also a free man after clearing my old debts. This enabled me to secure my two pieces of farmland that I had mortgaged off. Previously, life was very hard because I would move the whole village in search of manual jobs so as to clear my debts. This has changed because with the cash transfer I was able to execute my plans at once.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send people unconditional cash transfers. Nevertheless, GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to clear my debts and purchase household items like a bed, mattress and clothes.
