Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the alert on my phone, I started dancing and singing around the whole town. This transfer came the time I was almost giving up that I was not going to be apart of this program again, because others started receiving payments from GiveDirectly before me. The day I received the alert was the day I felt loved in my entire life.

The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly is that I now go to bed knowing that I have a comfortable and secured place to sleep. I was mocked and shamed by my peer because I always wore tore up clothes. For this reason, I hardly when out with them, this brought me so much sadness. Helpfully with my transfer from GiveDirectly, I was able to buy enough clothes for myself. Moreover, I used some of the money to buy mattress because I have been sleeping on mat for years. And the remaining money was spend on fixing a door for my room.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Before receiving payment from GiveDirectly I have been sleeping on mat for years and the room I'm sleeping in is without door. Moreover, I have been completely out of clothes to wear. This experienced brought so much shame and disgrace to me. Happily, with this transfer I used a portion of the money and bought a mattress for myself. Furthermore, I used some of the money and bought clothes for myself also. Additionally, I am now using the balance money to fix door for my room. I am very excited to be one of the beneficiaries of GD program.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When God help me to get that money, I plan to buy my zinc and build my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happy because God make GiveDirectly to come in my town today and I know that i will get that money to make my life better.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main hard time i'm facing is the sleeping place business, I don't have better sleeping place; I was also going to school, but couldn't continue because I never had money to pay my school fees. So when GiveDirectly give me this money, I will try to go back to school and build my house with the balance money.
