What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to settle my dowry since my spouse died before paying my dowry. I invested a portion of the transfer in rice farming. I also purchased other household items with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I manged to settle my dowry and now my children can establish their homes since our doctrine dictate that a child cannot establish his home unless the mother get legally married.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it is up to its promise. At the moment I'm not privy to what GD doesn't do well.

I spent my second transfer on buying clothes, school uniforms, two bags of maize, sofa seats (one set), a table and two cows
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I was able to buy cows that provide me with milk, at least now own cattle

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer on buying a mattress, water storage container, a blanket, school uniform for my daughter, 1 sac of maize for food security and kept a part of the cash transfer for emergencies.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my upcoming cash transfer on paying dowry and to build a decent house where I can stay comfortably with with my children.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer to buy two cattle for payment of my dowry. Secondly, I plan to use another part of the transfer to build a house on my piece of land, so that I have my own home. Lastly, I intend to use the remaining amount to pay hospital bill for my child who is dumb , and I plan to take him to hospital for checkup.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm very proud of is having built this my house, using savings from my casual work, after my husband's death.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is, providing food for my family, due to inadequate income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm relaxing after having supper.
