What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying some household items, paying school fees for my daughter who is in third form and I was also able to renovate my house that I had already built with my second transfer
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I was able to afford to pay school fees for my daughter and I was also able to build a new house, were it not for Give Directly I would not be having a home of my own
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly improves the lives of the less fortunate in the society through giving them money directly, the thing that Give Directly doesn't do well is the fact that some of the less fortunate were left out of the program

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used all of my transfer to buy materials and build a house. I bought iron sheet, timber and nails and paid for the labour
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I had a grass thatched house which was leaking and really old. For me, building a new, iron-sheet roofed house was important to me because it has been a dream. The value of my life has improved because I can now be counted amongst those who have good houses.

What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having taken good care of my body and that is why I am still alive.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to build a better house for my family, my current house is dilapidated and is in urgent need of repairs. If I am unable to raise the required amount my house might collapse.
