What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying building materials like bricks, sand and cement that I am planning to use to build another house. I will try find money on my own to build the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I think I would just be they way I used to live an average life which was not good.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think GiveDirectly should give money to more poor households in the villages they are working and the support should not stop.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy some oxen which will assist me when I am tilling my farm. The remaining transfers will be used to pay school fees for my daughters who are in secondary schools.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having been a successful farmer to the extent that I have managed to educate my children up to secondary school level using proceeds from the sale of my crops.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children. I rely alot on subsistence farming for my income but the harvests are not very good this time. I fear that I may not be able to raise the required fees for my children and they may have to defer their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am relaxing with my family after working all day in my farm.
