How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers came at the moment when I was sick and bedridden. My health has greatly improved and I am back on my feet. I also enrolled two grand children into secondary schools. In the past, I was hard up and my health was drastically deteriorating. The cash transfers were a blessing for me at this old age.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to send us cash transfers. Personally, I am old and vulnerable. The cash transfers have helped me alot and my only prayer is that GiveDirectly should continue the good work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second cash transfer to purchase iron sheets and timber. I gave my grandchildren UGX 400000 for their school fees.
