What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer on new iron sheets to replace the old and leaking ones that are on the roof. We are also planning to stock up on food, especially maize, which is our staple, so that at least, the family is assured of some food even when we haven't found any casual work to do around the village.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is installing electrical power into our home, which means that the children can now do their homework under a more conducive environment.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of food, especially when both my husband and I have failed to find any work to do for pay.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when our children are back from school and they are helping me with the chores around the house.
