What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on constructing a new house that is spacious than the one I had before. At least I am free to buy household items as much as I can as compared to my previous house whose capacity could not allow me buy anything extra in it. It was damn small to an extent that some of my children had to place their mattress under my bed in order to fit well in the house at night. Other than that, I planned to pay my wives dowry but fell short funds after purchasing all the requirements. Better half a loaf than never, having a project done half way is much easier to accomplish than one that need a fresh beggining. I am very optimistic that I will accomplish the project initiated by the GD transfers.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly been transformed since I began receiving transfers from GiveDirectly. I must say that, I would have been sunk in extreme poverty till my death, were it not for these transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has impacted a lot in the lives of many people. Given an opportunity to rank the organisation, I would rank it the best.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought cattle (2 cows, 3goats and 1sheep) because I wanted to go and pay my wife's dowry. The rest of the money I used it on food and chairs
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Am very happy because I had no money to buy cattle so that I could pay my wife's dowry according to african tradition but now am in a position to do so. I can also manage to buy food for my family daily because of the money I received from givedirectly.
