I spent my third transfer on buying furniture. I paid school fee and started fish business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a source of income from the business I opened thus I can easily meet my daily needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In opinion, what Gd does well is giving cash to the needy and allowing them to decide on what to do with the money.I don't see anything bad Gd does.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer majorly on buying building materials and constructing a house because my previous house was very small and old. I also paid school fees for my son and spent the rest on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is living in a three roomed house from a one roomed shelter which was almost callapsing. I am so much happy and thankful to God for the miraculous support.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a bed. I used to sleep on the floor after my bed broke down. Using some part of the transfer,I bought a sack of corn for my children. At least they are able to find something to eat after school. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

The moment I received the transfer,I went on my knees and prayed. I was so exited about it.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfers on building a new house since the one I am staying in is small. I also plan to expand my business of selling small fish

The achievement I am most proud of is being able to take care of my children despite my husband dying .

The biggest hardship I have faced in life is the death of my husband. He left me at a tender age with the children to take care of on my own
