Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am growing older and older thus attending to my chores is becoming harder for me. I currently live in an old mud-walled house that needs regular maintenance. In the next four months, a new goal I have for my life is to blaster the walls of my house. I wish to do it to make my chores easier and have a better place to call home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am a family person, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, a relative and a friend to many. I love and owe each one happiness thus I love to be checked on and checking on others. Some few months ago, One of my old aunties had fallen after accidentally sliding within the compound leading to serious injurious on her leg. I felt for her and always prayed for her to get well. It has been so hurting for me staying around home knowing that she was unwell. I couldn't afford to check on her since I had no resources to facilitate my travel. In the last four months, the biggest difference in my life was meeting my injured aunty. I fell so happy to check on her even though she has not recovered fully, I was happy to have seen her with my naked eye. I took some amount from my transfer to facilitate my visit and this made the biggest difference in my life in the last four months.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
At my age, my biggest ambitions are to have a relaxed mind and have a good place to stay in. In the next six months, I expect to be living a better life in that I will have plastered my house thus will have a good place to call home. Archiving this will give me humble minds.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy a chain link for constructing a poultry house. I got some chicken which I rear on a free ranch and more often they stray to neighbour's farms and destroy their crops and this has resulted in conflict. I am thinking of finding a lasting solution to this by constructing a structure to confine them so that I would no longer have a conflict with my neighbours.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months, I invested part of my transfers on farming. As a result, I planted some maize which is so far doing well. Again, I planted some beans which I harvested a few days ago. Now I got to cook some for lunch every day and it has cut us the cost we would spend on buying food.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With my next transfer, I am thinking of wiring our house and connect the electricity to it so that we would have good lighting. Currently, we are using solar lighting which when it doesn't charge due to lack of enough sunshine during rainy times it would stop functioning as it doesn't charge. I intend to connect electricity to our home so that we would have a reliable source of energy.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have children and daughters in law but they do not contribute towards my upkeep on most occasions because they too are overwhelmed by their own family needs. This has always forced me to look for cow-dung around the village despite my aching limbs when performing such tasks such. My life is currently different from how it was four months in that I have cemented my house into a semi-permanent one and the remaining part is the outside walls. Due to this, I will no longer seek help from my grandchildren most of the time to assist me to smear it.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal nor additional goal for the next four months since I intend to complete cementing my house that I had starting before with the transfers for the next seven months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that my family can comfortably have three meals in a day which was a luxury before. This is because I have been using most of the transfers to buy balanced diet meals for my family consumption. On the other hand, buying farm inputs has also ceased to be a problem. This is because I have been able to plant on time and use the right required inputs hence I am hopeful that the harvest will be more than the previous ones which will enhance food security in my household.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have bought the necessary materials needed in plastering my house from outside. This will make my house more presentable from outside after its completion and I will also get relieved from searching for cow dung to smear my present mud house.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago becuase I feel healthier, happier and stronger. We have adequate food for consumption. Morreover, we afford a balanced diet in the family unlike beforel. This is because of the increase in income and savings that I enjoy. I tend to spend less money on buying food items because I have harvested the maize and beans that I using the earlier tranfers from GiveDirectly. Additonally, we get eggs for consumption and sale from teh poultry that I bought some months ago. Other than that, I have afforded to buy some stationery for one of my grandchildren.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal for my life for the next four months is to buy a water tank with a capacity of 3000 liters. I will save the transfers through table banking. Moreover, I will get further funds to finance the project from the sale of one of my goats. I chose to prioritize on buying the water tank because I have been spending lots of money to hire some individuals who fetch water for us from a nearby river. Due to my advanced age, I am no longer strong enough to carry water on my back like before. Still, the river water tends to be unclean and less safe for consumption. Hence, I intend to collect rainwater for consumption and other uses in the household.
