How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am able to go and see my parents very frequently without being worried of where I will sleep. I also have very comfortable furniture that I did not expect to own in my life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start saving and spend the money to start livestock keeping by buying some cows as my future investment, where by incase any emergency I can easily sell them and spend money according to the need.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that l now have my own house where by my privacy is enhanced, comfortability and conveniency is up hold. Compared to when I had to request neighbors to accommodate me through the night. This has also changed the frequency in which l visit my parents.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect to have started saving to start cattle farming, at least have a back up that can help me incase of any emergency.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the money from GiveDirectly is that I feel at peace knowing that I have already purchased building materials and now I'm sure I'll soon have a house. Raising money for purchasing the building materials has been a real struggle and it has been stressing me.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have purchased cows for rearing.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the money from GiveDirectly in that if it wasn't for GD, I wouldn't have bought the building materials.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of purchasing some cows for rearing as a way of investment for the future.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I currently face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income. I live with my grandmother who is quite old and therefore I am the sole breadwinner, thus whenever I am unable to get work we usually have very little to eat.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the evenings especially if I did some work which was well paying. I usually get to relax with my friends as we take soft drinks and this makes me very happy.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy nails, timber, sand, cement and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build my own house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked as a casual worker. I have been able to save my earnings and recently purchased a cow.
