I spent a larger portion of my third transfer on buying two dairy cows and used some on channeling piped water to my home.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I no longer have to walk for a long distance to buy water since I now have water in my compound.

I my second transfer on two cows to keep as source of wealth, paid casual workers to weed my farms and spent the rest on two bags of maize. I have been longing to have cows just like other neighbours but I could not afford it until I got the transfer.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am owning cows and rearing them as my source of wealth. I might sell them in future when emergency arise as opposed to when I dint have any asset. Thanks to Give Directly.

I spent my first transfer to hire a tractor to cultivate 2 acres of land (5,000 KES) since it is faster, and also bought 10 iron sheets in preparation for building a new house (5,000 KES)
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt as if I was in a dream, then after that, deeply appreciative since actually, I was waiting for this money to enable my family to accomplish some of our plans, including food production activities that were almost delaying for the season due to low income.
