Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Without GD, I wouldn't have enrolled in college because I couldn't afford it. This is the biggest difference in my daily life because I believe that education is power and I also believe that after clearing college I'll be able to get a good paying job which will enable to meet my needs without any challenges.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was around 5:00 am when I received a confirmation message that I had received money from Give Directly. It was such a joyyos moment and I thanked God for such a miracle.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
My elder brother was living in a poor conditioned house which was leaking with holes all over the walls. This was risky since he could easily catch a cold and at the same time, anyone could break into the house at any time. So I bought him some building materials with a portion of the money which he used to renovate the house and it's now safe to stay in. Aside from that, I cleared secondary education last year but I couldn't afford college fee because I'm a total orphan so a portion of the money I used to enroll in college. Part of the money I used to plow a farm where I'm planning to plant sugarcane. Being a student, I'm planning to use the money I'll get from the sugarcane plantation to meet both college requirements and my upkeep.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means relief from stress and worries in life. I would like to spend the transfer on improving my education. I was unable to continue with learning due to lack of school fees and this almost interfered with my dreams.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I get paid for the casual labor that I offer and buy food and clothing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in life is extreme poverty. I have lived a life of an orphan since the demise of my parents without any external support. This made me drop out of school due to lack of school fees and started offering cheap casual labor with meager earnings.
