What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on completion of building a 3 room house since we had a tiny house and poorly structured and we always needed a better house. I also bought a heifer that will hopefully provide our milk for for improved nutrition in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my view, GD has empowered this community in many ways ,all of the recipients have made positive steps in their living standards
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have moved to my own compound and with a bigger and better house , which would never have happened this soon were it not for GD transfers.

The moment I received the transfer I was very happy and dance in celebration . I knew that this amount was going to help me hit my goal which was to establish my homestead.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is unreliable source of income to build a better house since we live on hand to mouth because the little we get goes to our daily up and a times we go without food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in afternoon when I got the news that I am going to receive money from give directly because I have been longing so much to build my own home and my dream has come true.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am feeling very happy that I am going to receive the money from give directly since I have been longing to build my own home.
