What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on my farm. I planted maize and sorghum in large quantities. I also bought fertilizer which really increased my farm yields and now we have enough food at our home. The remaining part of the money I used to pay school fees for my children who had fee arrears at school.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 30000 KES of my second transfer to buy building materials that i used to do finishing of my house,i bought a sack of corn at 3400KES,I bought three plastic chairs that cost me 1950 KES,I gave my husband 4000 KES to help him pay fee for our son. I gave my two sons in college 2000 KES pocket money,I used 6500 KES to plough land that i will use for planting during the rainy season. I used the rest of the transfer to buy food for my family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer on farming. We want to hire a tractor and buy some good seeds to do serious maize farming to boost our food security and also to sell some of the harvest to get money.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is buying some goats which I keep in my compound. They have since reproduced, and occasionally when I need cash, I sell one or two.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is being displaced by floods. Every year during the rainy seasons, my house and compound gets flooded and I have to move out.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am taking my goats out to pasture.
