Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am lucky to have been able to build a spacious house for my family that comfortably accommodate us. I always feel so bad at my big house without seats and tables thus in the next four months, the new goal I have for my life is to buy enough seats and tables for my decent house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
For so long we had dark nights in my home since the paraffin lamps we had were dim to comfortably use and the delights panel was expensive for me to buy. I felt the negative effect on my school-going children who could not have their private studies or do their homework at home. I dreamt a lot of buying a solar panel to help us out it but all never went well due to scarce resources. Ever since I received my transfer from GiveDiirectly, my life has greatly changed after spending part of it to buy a solar panel, battery and bulbs. We currently enjoy a bright night at our home giving my children a good environment and enough time to carry on with their studies. I feel so happy to see them studying knowing that they are building a brighter future for their lives.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect a better life in that I expect to have fully furnished my house thus will always have good couches to relax on and good place to welcome my visitors. I believe fulfilling this will give me ample minds to think of other income-generating activities for my family.
