What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a spacious four roomed house with the building materials I bought with the second transfer and now I have a peace of mind since I no longer staying in a small house which couldn't fit my family members confortably.I also bought household utensils and clothes .

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I spent the whole of it on building materials. I am now well equip to construct my main house and I can't wait to build a bigger one since my current house is too small to offer us comfort we need.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that currently, I live with a lot of hopes in life as opposed to before when I never had any money. Having money has made me acquire a lot in life and therefore I live a normal life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my first transfer on paying school fees for my aunt who is in high school 6,000 KES. I also bought one bag of maize for consumption purposes 4,000 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I was over joyed and I thanked God for the blessings I had received through GiveDirectly since I was assured that this was the start of economical growth in my household.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to buy furniture like tables, chairs and a bed. Lastly, we intend to use the remaining amount to build a bigger house, with three rooms, because this one is small.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having built this our house, is the achievement we are very proud of, because we used to live in a rental house at the market centre.

The biggest hardship we have faced is, providing food for our family, due to unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm preparing supper for my family.
