What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on fencing my home to enhance security and maintain peace with the neighbors who were full of complains on my livestock movements into their farms and destroying their crops. Besides that, I reduced the burden I had on payment of school fee for my two children in secondary school. I am happy that they are no longer sent home for school fee neither do they miss their exams for failure to complete paying their school fee in good time.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life would have been so different and full of frustrations would I not have received the transfer. I can clearly testify that up to date I would have still been querelling with my neighbors who had threatened to make it a police case should I fail to cage my livestock who destroyed their crops.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has worked so well in ensuring that a nice protocol is followed in to make sure that even the most vulnerably members of the society are reached and given opportunities to be enrolled into the program as opposed to other organisations who tend to ignore vulnerable cases. One thing I would recommend for the organisation is an extended transfer period of say 5 installments, to ensure that projects began by recipients are well accomplished.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I fenced the whole of my compound at total cost of 30000 KES. I decided to do this in order to remain secure. I cleared school fees balances for my 2 children in a secondary school with the remaining amount. I did this since a child without education is nothing in this world. I am happy since I expect them to live a better life in the future, courtesy of Give Directly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was one kind of a person whose home was so much open and people could just walk in and out of it. This could make our lives insecure including my household items. But I am now happy that since I fenced it, we have remained secure, our items have also been intact too. This is the biggest difference I can mention in my daily life after receiving my second transfer.

The achievement I am proudest of is building my own house, where I stay with my family.
