What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on repairing my house which was old and constructing a latrine so that I can stop using the one of my neighbours. I also bought some food to address the famine at hand.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have my own latrine and don't have to go to the neighbours for the call of nature.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is giving aid without expecting any thing in return. According to me, what GD does not do well is making the programme short term.

I spent my first transfer on buying a solar panel for lightting because I could not afford buying paraffin everyday. I also bought cement for cementing the floor to my house

I am planning to spend my next transfer on buying cows for rearing. By doing so, I will get milk for drinking and also for sell to enable me earn a living.

I am planning to spend the transfer on improving my house by cementing the walls and floor and buying household items like mattress.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was giving birth to my seven children because they take care of me now that I am old.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is the frequent sickness which affects my chest and painful cough.

The happiest part of the day is the night time because I sleep when I am peaceful.
