How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers transformed my life alot. I had spent over two years at home after I failed to raise school fees to complete the advanced level of education. However,I utilized the cash transfers to enroll for a certificate in mechanical engineering. I am glad that I will be completing it this year, thanks to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to support the needy people. It would have been annoying had they supported only the wealthy. In addition to this, I love the way GiveDirectly conducts their tasks for instance in resolving household conflicts amicably.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second cash transfer to pay tuition fees worth UGX 400000 and UGX 1200000 will be spent on buying food stock preferably groundnut seeds.
