Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my plan is to ensure that my son who recently joined high school has nill fee balance. I want to give him the best-undisrupted education to better his performance and brighten his future.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Previously, I was living in my parent's home and our tradition, there is an age that a man is expected to construct his own home. This was not the case for I had tried everything humanly possible but all was in vain. Bills and household expenses were constantly on my shoulders. But as of today, I own a home thanks to GD's support through the monthly transfers and my savings.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I had not plastered the walls of my new house, so I hope in the next six months it will be a done deal. A plastered house beautifies the house and makes cleaning easier. Besides that, I am certain that my son will be in school with zero fee balances.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have been buying iron sheets which I will use in building a new house. I am glad I have made the step with the transfers. It was my biggest worry since time was moving forward and I felt I was getting old. Thank GD I am back on track.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy more building materials such as nails and timber which I will use in building the house I have always wanted to have. This is because I already have iron sheets which I bought with part of my transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have always lived a house which I built two years ago. I have always planned to have a new house in my own compound as I have come of age to have my own home. Since I have always depended on farming as my main source of income, I have never managed to achieve the goal in time. I hoped that one day I will get away out. Little did I know the way would be Give Directly. I am glad I have 20 iron sheets which I will use in building a new house of my preference in my own home.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be having a new house. I will continue to use my monthly transfers to buy building materials which I still lack so that I can have the house.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been able to buy 18 pieces of iron sheets toward my plan of constructing a new house which has set my plan in motion. I am confident I am finally going to achieve my goal as I had planned. Through the transfers, I have also managed to buy a sheep as an investment for my family. I can later sell the sheep or its offspring to raise money to solve other family needs
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been planning to move from my parents compound into my own compound before the end of this year. I have been buying the necessary materials such as iron sheets and timber. My plan is to continue buying the materials until I can have enough to construct a new house for my family in my own home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Being that we don't have any stable source of income and mostly depend on income from casual jobs, we usually don't have enough to eat in the house. These transfers have improved our daily lives by allowing us to access healthy meals on a daily basis and the general health of my family members has really improved. This is because we have three meals a day and change diet on a daily basis because of GD transfers
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in the next six months, I will have constructed a new house in my own home so that I can then give room for my younger brothers to do so as tradition demands. This project has been stressful for me for quite sometime now and completing it will come with a very huge relief and an opportunity for my family to enjoy better things because we will no longer have to squeeze on our daily budget like we currently are.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because I bought some iron sheets which I am planning to use in building a new house. I have always desired to have my own home but due to my unreliable source of income, I could not raise enough money to put up a new house. GiveDirectly has made my dream come true through the transfers. I am also able to have meals unlike the past when we would skip some meals due to lack of money to buy food.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to buy iron sheets. I am planning to use them to build a new iron roofed house in my own compound. I have been living in my father's compound which is not in order according to my culture.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in your daily life preceding the last four months preceding the current transfer is to clear school fees for my son. I used to strain while working more on hard casual labour jobs to enable me to make income for use in my household as well as pay school fees for my son. I am grateful for GiveDirectly's transfers because it has really eased my burden.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to build a new house in my own compound. I have been living in my fathers compound and could not do much in terms of personal development because space was limited. My sons will have enough space to build their own houses and will not be forced to ask for a place to spend their night from the neighbours anymore.
