What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a 3 room house since as a homeless lady this was my number one priority. It happens that I used to live in a rental house with my two girls at the Market Centre where the room I could afford was too small for us. My Employer offered me a room in one of her rental houses in exchange for the whole salary of 1,500 KES that she was supposed to be paying me per month, meaning I had literally zero earnings for quite some time. Fortunately, my employer accepted that I could make chips in the open at her shop verandah in the afternoons when there were few customers, and sell to enable me raise money to care for my children. I thank God that with GD support, I managed to buy a small piece of land with my second transfer, and put up a house using my third transfer and currently I am doing well with a spacious house of my own and I am back to earning a salary. My background is that I was married in a neighboring village before and had two daughters, until my younger sister came visiting, and took over my husband who then sent me away in a cruel manner, and that was how I ended at the Market centre and got a Sales job in a Hardware shop. Thank you very much GD.
