What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on school fees. I used my transfer to pay school fees for myself and my other 4 siblings and we are all in candidate classes.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now sleep well in a good bed and in a clean- cemented house with solar power from the transfer. Also me and my siblings are in schools because of the transfer. Therefore, my life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to sensitise us on how the program operates and how to manage our mobile money pin codes. Also GiveDirectly gave us good quality mobile phones and money for free. However, GiveDirectly how should also come back and help other people in my village whom you had left out.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Three goats yes! I used my first transfer to buy 3 goats because goats when are fed well can can give me good money that I can use to buy a cow, and when my cow produces I can easily buy enough land for me and my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I saw money on my phone in the morning and I didn't believe it was true untill I went to a mobile money agent who told me that it was true. I was excited!

I am planning to spend my transfer on paying my own school fees.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I was able to buy goats to rear and Was also able to do poultry. This keeps me in school since I get some money out of it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I had a swelling near my right hand eye. It affected my studies a lot since I could not read books well. But later it was operated.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon hours. This is the time I have to interact with peers and other friends.
