Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am thankful that the cash transfers came at the right time when I had no other means of survival. I had no money to treat myself or take care of my grandchildren for instance there was one who fell off a mango tree and cracked his skull. This cash transfer enabled me to seek medical attention in Mbale hospital. I am happy and relieved because he is now improving and healthy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I heard three message tones. Unfortunately, I can not read so I called one of my last born child who read the message for me. I felt very happy and praised God for this opportunity because at my old age, I did not think I would ever receive such an amount from a good samaritan.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 100000 to treat myself and UGX 20000 to purchase bed sheets. I also spent UGX 300000 for medical consultation for my grand child. I paid a debt worth UGX 50000. I gave my children UGX 20000 for their pocket money. I am planning to spend the balance on purchasing some livestock.
