What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing steel windows and a door hoping to fix them very soon, bought school uniforms for my children and spent the larger percentage of the amount on starting up a saloon business to get income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I managed to start up my own saloon business hence earning a living out of it and I no longer stay in my co-wife's house because I built my own using the second transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was by sending transfers to an individual without involving a second party like the community heads who are corrupt.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to build my own house since l do not have a house. Finally l would wish to open up a saloon for my own since I have working in someone else saloon.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have tried to plant tomatoes and rice which helped us sustain our family.

My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to pay school fees for our children.

My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon when working in the saloon
