In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done alot of good things in uplifting very many households from poverty through giving them cash transfers.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought bed 65,000 , mattress 95,000, curtains 20,000 , bedsheets 20,000, shoes 20,000 , the balance I am planning to access some gardens.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received the cash transfers my life was worse that I could not afford food and other basic needs but now I am peaceful and my life is very comfortable. I am very happy and thankful to givedirectly for the cash transfers.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on hiring a big chank of land at 1,500,000 ugx since my father had many sons and less land. I used the balance to improve on my dress code and feeding
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very excited and happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have a peace of mind because I have my own land for cultivation other than struggling for the small land that my family has.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face is famine because this season has not favoured food crop .so everything now days, when you want you have to spend money to buy which was not the case.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening after work. I go to our nearby trading centre to relax and enjoy the good advices given to me by elderly people.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me to pay more two garden since I have one ,which was given to me by my father and the balance I will use for paying dowary for marriage.
