What did you spend your second transfer on?
Since I ready had a plot of land i used my second transfer to buy bricks and ironsheets that I used to construct my commercial house. I will put a shop in it which will be my daily income business. I bought 2 doors to fix on my house at 620,000 ugx.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well by giving me money to be able to prove my plans for myself. For example, the fact that I am building a commercial house. However, in my opinion nothing bad that I see in GiveDirectly's work.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never recieved the transfer in that, I would not be able to put up my commercial house. Thanks to GiveDirectly transfer, i have then been able to put up my commercial house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay for labour for making bricks, fire wood for burning bricks and labour for burning bricks all at 600,000Ugx and the balance of the transfer I kept to spend for construction.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my fransfer I was very happy and am still happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Am going to own a commercial house that will generating income for the family that is going to be the biggest difference in my life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is lack of money to have helped me complete primary education. My father died and that was the end of my education since he was the only one responsible for all neccesities in regards to my education
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon.This is the time I visit my peers in our village trading centre.Staying with my friends makes me happy since we share ideas and stories together.I enjoy their company since they make me happy with interesting stories
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means paying bride price for my traditional marriage.I intend to use this money to pay dawry to my in laws for my wife's traditional marriage
