What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband has seven brothers three of whom live together with us in his father's land that has not been subdivided amongst them. Our constant worry is not getting any piece of land from him and we had to buy 0.3 acres of land to develop when that happens. Receiving this money will enable us to build our house on that land and relocate there together with my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Our area does not normally receive constant rainfall but that has not been so in the last six months. I was able to plant and harvest enough maize that will serve us for the next couple of months hence bringing me joy because I am assured that my family will not lack food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is having a small piece of land for farming since we still live in my father-in-law's compound. This has limited me in keeping a dairy cow for milk that will enable me to earn some money whenever I sell milk, rear chicken, and farm vegetables.
