Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Presently, I do not have new goal rather than completing repaying the loan with my next transfers. I made this sacrifice so that I would have a lifetime wealth with the help of this amazing organization.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Early this year, I obtained a loan from a table banking group the money which I spend on buying a heifer for rearing. This was the second livestock which I bought since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly. Before I started receiving transfers from this organization I had never obtained a loan from any financial institution since I had no asset nor a reliable source of income to repay the loan. After I completed repaying the first loan which I had obtained initially to buy a cow, I obtained KES 20000 which I spend on buying a high breed heifer. With my monthly transfers, I got to repay KES 2000 monthly. The happiness which I have in the last four month's is that the cow which I bought initially recently calf down and I get to sell milk which has increased my earnings. On top of that, I get to repay the loan for the heifer with less struggle with the monthly transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Currently, I am staying at my sisters' place where I have been staying for the last fifteen years. With Give Directly's transfers, I have been able to buy a cow and a heifer. I believe in the next six months, I will have started saving towards buying a piece of land. I am looking forward to saving the money which I will get from the sale of milk to buy a piece of land where a will build a home for my children and my self. I am a single parent and through the empowerment which I get from Give Directly I believe I would achieve my dream.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life currently is different because I found the courage to take a loan that bought me a dairy cow. This has fully been repaid already!. This is a difference because previously, I would not have taken the loan since my income is very little. I am a menial worker in a tea farm and my income is so little, just enough for the household expenditure and nothing to save. Getting a loan opened new possibilities of more income sources like dairy farming other than just the menial jobs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal is to buy another cow. I will take another loan from the same institution that offers me the previous loan. I will then buy another dairy cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is joy after repaying a loan that I took to buy a cow. With the last transfer, I completed the loan repayment for purchasing a cow. The cow is now my property and I earn a daily income from selling about 6 liters at kes 35per each. The money I make is then paid to me at the end of every month. I usually save the money in two merry go round groups in order to achieve more.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months become better because of a good source of income from milk production. I will be owning another dairy cow in addition to the one I have. I hopefull that I will be getting a higher income from the two milk producers and hence a better income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My family's food supply has never dwindled over the last month. I bought enough foodstuffs in \jnaurry that I just keep replenishing every month using the transfers. My children are well fed because I provide proper meals using the transfers I get and from the constant milk supply that is resulted from the transfers. another effect is on their education. I have fully paid their fees and they are currently learning without any interruptions. The financial success that I enjoy would no that been possible were it not for GiveDirectly.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to buy another cow. I intend to complete repaying the previous loan in the next two months and immediately take another one.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the milk production from the cow I bought using the transfer. I get enough milk for both my family's consumption and for sale t earn an income. I took a loan that I service using the cash transfers to buy them a cow. I was assured of the constant income and so I was able to secure a loan. I am so happy because the investment is helping me to meet my financial obligations unlike four months ago.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, My life will have changed in that I will have bought a parcel of land. I plan to do this by taking a loan and top it up using the money I get as a farm caretaker. I work fo my brother who left his tea farm under my care and went o work in the city, The savings I have made from the salary he gives me will top up the loan that I will take. I will buy a piece of land where I can settle my family in. Being a single mother means so much pain and poverty but the empowerment from GiveDirectly is leading me out of the bondage. I will be having my own parcel of land in the next six months.
