What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third cash transfer on paying for an ultrasound test that had earlier been recommended with the doctor but I couldn't afford to pay for. I renovated my house which leaked whenever it rained and a larger portion of the cash transfer I spent on paying a debt that I had borrowed to clear my children's school fees.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to start sugarcane farming to enable me raise school fees for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have built a house and paid for my children school fees. I'm very happy and feel motivated because for the first time, they were not sent home for school fees and I noticed a great improvement in their performance. I believe that with education, they'll be better people in the society. Thank you very much Givedirectly.
