Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the anxiety I feel as I wait to use my blanket when the whether gets cold and the happiness I feel because I now have two mattresses in my house. I will give the old one to my children where they will sleep comfortably and I will use the new one. Prior to getting this money, I had small light bed sheets that would not accommodate the cold whether and my children slept on heaped clothing for a bed without covers or at times I would give them to put on my big clothes that would act as covers.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so delighted that I had got money that I would use unconditionally.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent part of my first transfer to buy a bull at Ugx 1000000. I then used Ugx 400000 to get back my farm land. I also bought a mattress and blanket all at Ugx 200000. I spent the balance of Ugx 100000 on feeding my children and buying them a few clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable me and my household to build a permanent house that will improve on our living standards. The house we stay in is grass thatched and termites have eaten the grass. It's very expensive to renovate due to scarcity of grass. This permanent house when built will reduce the cost of renovating it periodically.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest Part of my day is after lunch. It's at this time when I am resting and discussing with my children the issues affecting them. We plan on remedial issues to the issues hence that makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is inadequate source of income. The little income that so receive is through farming which not susainanble because of so many competing demands in the household. The little money I get is spread through paying school fees, renovating my house and feeding.
