What did you spend your second transfer on?
Constructing a 3 room has been my long term dream since living in a very small house has not been comfortable to me and my family and therefore getting the second transfer has moved me closer to my dream. I have bought 27 iron sheets already, timber and nails.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends more money to us, as a result, we are able to accomplish bigger projects but the help should be long-term as opposed to short-lived.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I never knew that one day, I together with my household members would sleep on a more comfortable mattress and sit on a couch. This was not possible, but only through Give Directly that we can now sleep on a high density mattresses and sit on a nice couch.

When I received my first transfer, I spent on household items including tableware, bedding since I never had them. I kept on asking them from my neighbors and therefore when I acquired them, I felt very glad.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer ask neighbors for most of the household items that I lacked before then since I have acquired them, for instance cooking devices and equipment.

The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to buy furniture and utensils for my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after finishing all my chores. I usually relax with my family and this makes me very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I can finally build a house for my family instead of paying rent.
