How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now in that, I'm so happy because I managed to acquire what I lacked in my previous life. For example these transfers helped me construct a house and I will no longer have to worry about looking for grass to maintain my hut. My business has improved a lot because I did spent some money on restocking and this business will grow and generate income for the well-being of my family. I was also able to buy household items and plough my gardens using the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD did well because most of things I lacked I was able to acquire them using the transfers. I built a house, restocked my business, purchased household items and ploughed my gardens. My community gliters because most people spent the transfers on building houses. In my view there is nothing wrong GD did in my community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent some part of my transfer on boosting my shop. My business was in the verge of collapsing since I did not have enough capital for restocking. I also used this transfer to complete my newly constructed house which is started with the first transfer. In addition to that, I purchased household items using this transfer e.g utensils. I also spent it on ploughing.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to build a permanent house that will give me a comfortable lifestyle such as good sleep, no leakage and enough space when it's complete is the biggest difference in my daily life.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt sigh of relief and joy at the same time. I knew that I had now got the money that would be able to construct a better permanent house than the one I am staying in at the moment as it leaks in case of heavy rains.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent all (Ugx 1700000) my first transfer on buying building materials such as bricks, poles, iron sheets, sand and cement that I am currently using to build my permanent house. This is my priority as my current house is in a terrible condition. It seriously leaks and not specious.
